'Dust and Dirt' is a one thousand and four hundred-word oneshot, featuring a dying world where only Rainbow Dash survived, albeit not without suffering horrible mutations. As she wanders the wastes, she eventually stumbles upon a portal, that takes her to a new world where she can be with her friends once again. Time passes and eventually Rainbow can't keep the lie up anymore and through Twilight she faces herself again and realizing that the new world was all a figment of her imagination and she's still in the wastelands, alone.
Due to the shortness of the story, the whole thing is extremely rushed and has almost zero emotional impact, which is a shame, because otherwise the concept is not the worst I've heard.
Overall: 3/10 It's a story alright, just not a very memorable or well fleshed out one.
